Dealing with rodents in your home is never fun. They are notorious for how quickly they breed, so as soon as you see traces of them, you know you have a problem on your hands. Just a single breeding pair could multiply so quickly that you soon would have a serious infestation on your hands. This could mean that you will have rodents spreading disease, doing damage to your home, and getting into your food.
There are some sure signs to keep an eye out for that will let you know that you might have a problem on your hands. One thing to give attention to – smells. If you smell something musty in dark, hidden away areas of your home, it could be a sign that rodents have made their home there. Of course, you can also look for the telltale droppings and food collections that they will build up.
If you walk the perimeter of your home, you might be able to spot holes where the rodents could gain access, possibly with small scratch marks where they have tried to enlarge a hole. Patch those areas up as soon as possible, and monitor them for returning intruders.
